I am an architectural student graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2017 and am currently working in an architecture practice in London, UK. I am interested in designing architecture that is a joint effort of both architects and users. I believe that architects need to empower and facilitate people to create their own stories in the city.
My work drives primarily from my interest in addressing a series of urban conflicts through large projects and creating strong geometric forms in small-scale projects. In my first project, I intended to address a strong urban conflict between fixed housing structures and dynamic populations by designing an adaptable social housing.
The second project aims to celebrate the distinctive characteristic of the Qingchen Mountain in China through a free-formed private house. The flow of curves was carefully designed to create suitable proportions and smooth forms.
Besides working on projects in university, I have been actively participated in different live projects and design competitions and am really keen to engage more in the years to come.
